SPRINGVILLE — Salamanca’s Maliyah Foster scored 13 points with five rebounds as the Warriors won their second straight game Saturday in non-league girls basketball play.
The Warriors went on the road to defeat Springville, 48-30.
Skyla Dowdy added 11 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Warriors (2-1). Kynleigh Wass grabbed 14 rebounds, Madisyn Lafferty had nine boards and Makenzie Crouse had eight boards and three blocks.
For Springville, Daniella Oakley scored 12 points.
Salamanca 32, Pioneer 31
SALAMANCA — Salamanca won a defensive battle, holding off Pioneer (1-2) despite a 15-point night for the Panthers’ Jayden Leederman on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Leading a balanced effort for Salamanca, Kynleigh Wass, Makenzie Crouse and Leilene McComber scored six points each.

CATTARAUGUS — Kadie Benzel scored eight points to lead Cattaraugus-Little Valley (2-2) Monday. West Valley fell to 0-3.

Derik Schoepflin led West Valley (1-2) with 12 points.
Ellicottville 39, Cassadaga Valley 27
ELLICOTTVILLE — Parker John’s 10 points paced Ellicottville (1-1) in a defensive game at home Monday.
Dominick Polino pulled down 14 rebounds, scored eight points and blocked three shots for the Eagles. Blake Smith dished out four assists.
Cameron Katilus led Cassadaga Valley with nine points.
