Salamanca Police
• Dec. 2, 3:36 p.m., Codi Curtin, 28, of Little Valley, was charged with three counts of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and following too closely, an infraction. The charges stem from a motor vehicle accident. Curtin was released with an appearance ticket.
• Dec. 2, 5:12 p.m., Sierra Abrams, 29, of Salamanca, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor. The charge stems from a traffic stop. Abrams was released with an appearance ticket.
• Dec. 5, 3:28 a.m., Jeffrey Redeye, 39, of Salamanca, was arrested on a warrant related to charges of first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, class E felonies; third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor; and fourth-degree stalking, a class B misdemeanor. Redeye was held pending arraignment.
• Dec. 5, 4 a.m., Raymond Sundown, 37, of Salamanca, was arrested on a warrant related to charges of second-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Sundown was held pending arraignment.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office
• ASHFORD — Keonta J. Mayfield, 28, of Lockport, was charged at 9:40 p.m. Dec. 3 with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class D felony; second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor. The charges stem from the investigation of a motor vehicle accident on Route 219, during which it was discovered that the vehicle had allegedly been reported stolen out of Lockport. Mayfield was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail and held pending further court proceedings.
New York State Police
• GOWANDA — David Paul Weaver, 32, of Cherry Creek, was charged at 3:45 p.m. Dec. 4 with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a class E felony. Weaver was released with an appearance ticket.
• GREAT VALLEY — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 12:17 p.m. Thursday on Kill Buck Road. Jackson Shoup, 22, of Lynchburg, Va., and Jason Tingley, 42, of Bradford, Pa., were identified as the drivers. One person was reported injured.
• SOUTH DAYTON — James L. Owens, 20, of South Dayton, was charged at 7:19 a.m. Thursday with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation by applying pressure, acting in a manner to injure a child younger than 17 and criminal mischief with intent to damage property, class A misdemeanors, and third-degree menacing, a class B misdemeanor. Owens’s status was reported as central arraignment.
