2 Buffalo men face multiple drug-related charges following traffic stop
SALAMANCA — A pair of men from Buffalo were issued several drug-related felony charges following a traffic stop, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s office reported.
Robert L. Green, 34, was charged at 7:50 p.m. Jan. 23 with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A-II felony; three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony; fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony; tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony; resisting arrest and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, class A misdemeanors; failure to stop at a stop sign and no signal, infractions.
According to deputies, Green, who was reportedly on parole, was allegedly found to possess unspecified quantities of oxycodone, fentanyl, methamphetamine, crack cocaine and Suboxone strips.
Also arrested was Trevann J. Dunnigan, 25, who was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony; third-degree criminal sale of cannabis, a class A misdemeanor; and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, a class B misdemeanor.
Deputies allege Dunnigan, who was reportedly on probation, was found to possess Suboxone strips, an illegal amount of cannabis and paraphernalia.
Green and Dunnigan were both processed and held pending further court proceedings.
