LITTLE VALLEY — The Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism is holding two events on Friday — one for those searching for a new career and a second for those interested in starting a new business or growing their existing one.
A job fair will kick off the day’s events from 8:30-11 a.m. There were 25 businesses registered to attend on Oct. 5 and report over 300 vacant positions being recruited. Various industries will be present including education, transportation, hospitality, food and beverage, manufacturing and more
The second event of the day will be a small business resources event. This program will bring together many different resources that are available to our small businesses in Cattaraugus County to provide details on services offered by their agencies. Agencies attending include Cattaraugus County Economic Development, Southern Tier West, Small Business Development Center and more.
Both events will be located inside the Corporate Building of the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds, 501 Erie St. in Little Valley.
