PORTVILLE — The Portville girls and boys teams each used its depth to run away from Salamanca in the lone Big 30 track and field meet on an overcast Monday evening.
Jenna and Julia Wyant each were part of four victories to lead Portville to an 82-55 victory on the girls’ side. Jenna took first in the 100 and 400 while Julia captured the 200 and long jump. Both ran on the winning 400 and 1,600-meter relay teams.
For Salamanca, Michaelynn Lecceardone claimed the 100 hurdles and triple jump while Jillian Rea won the two throwing events. Harley Brown added a win in the 400 hurdles while anchoring the winning 3,200-meter relay team.
Ava Haynes (800, high jump) and Sam Bray (1,500, 3,000) were also double-winners for the Panthers. Olivia Dean, meanwhile, won the pole vault and led off the first-place 400 relay team.

PORTVILLE — Bryan Randolph (200, high jump) and Ben Isaman (800, triple jump) both won two events and ran on two winning relay teams to power Portville.
For Salamanca, Arlen Newark (1,600), Carson Mohr (shot put) and Kaleb Holcomb (discus) all had individual victories.
Kyle North captured the 100 and long jump and led off the winning 400-meter relay team while Ryan Loncher notched wins in both hurdles events for the Panthers. Simon Szymanski took the 400 and also ran on two winning relays.
