CATTARAUGUS — Local author Lisa Musall will be at the Cattaraugus Free Library on Friday, Aug. 30 to read one or two of her books. She will also have a few titles available to purchase and autograph for the attendees.
Musall is an energetic author who brings a lot of fun and creativity. Open to all ages, however, the target audience is children under 10.
Back to school is right around the corner. Kids, are you looking to complete the school reading challenge? Stop in to the library and check out the books needed to complete your challenge. You’ll find many series, mysteries and biographies for all age groups.
The Knitting and Embroidery Club continues on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. This is a free group and all levels of experience are encouraged to attend.
Look for sign-ups next week in the library for Slimetember Saturdays. Children will be able to visit the library and create their own slime to take home. This is a free event, however, registration is required.
Also coming in September are an adult coloring hour, Pre-School Story Time and many more activities. Visit the Cattaraugus Free Library and view the calendar for all the events.
The library is open five days per week during the month of August. Seven patron computers and free Wi-Fi are available.
