SALAMANCA — Yard sale fans will find the “main event” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday (Aug. 10, 2019) outside and inside of 16 Main St., the new headquarters for Empire Animal Rescue Society (E.A.R.S.).
This new headquarters will be used by E.A.R.S. as a place to maintain clerical activities, store supplies and hold “meet and greet” events. It is the long-awaited answer to many hopes and dreams.
“There are so many donated items that it is actually more like an estate sale,” said Tracy Hamlett, event organizer. Shopping opportunities include anything everything from jewelry, clothing and books to household items.
Proceeds from the sale will help this animal rescue group carry on with their efforts to spay and neuter as well as find loving permanent homes for unwanted and neglected animals.
Bring a donation of pet supplies for a chance to win a gift basket. There will also be a raffle for a new pink Sundolphin kayak.
